kinda obsessed?

So. As most of the world knows, I have a gigantic crush on this guy. Wont say his name because it makes it that much more real. Plus anyone who doesn't know, doesn't need to.

I have his number and I text him a lot.

He says the most infuriating things!!!

For example:

But I really like texting him.

Its weird that I know he loves his video games.

He likes the color orange

His favorite song is a composition for star wars (no surprise there...)

The loves the rain as much as I do

He can actually skate on ice. Better than most 14 year old boys.

I saw him a couple saturdays ago. December 17. (I'm not that creepy as to mark which days I see him, I just remember because Noelle messed up the date even though it was in text in front of her.) Anyway. We went ice skating with a couple of friends.

Zach was talking to me and he was saying how 'He' was disappointed that he couldn't see me skate. Zach wouldnt leave me alone because he was trying to convince me that 'He' was in love with me.

I regret ever telling Zach.

Stupid boys.

So we skate around and I try to ignore Zach and amanda's 'suggestions to go talk to him.

Zach claims 'He' was too shy to try to talk to me. I can't rememeber exactally but I think Zach said the if I talked to him it would make him happy.... I can't remember.... oh well. It was something along those lines

So now he's in California, San Francisco California.

Lucky him

I know I shouldn't make a big deal out of this but I'm going to anyway because who seriously would read this?

Wait for it...

He texted me first!

It gets better...

TWICE!!!!

Better yet....

IN ONE DAY!!!!

So yeah.

It's exciting for me.

And he was texting something and I told him

I just thought it was cute so yeah....

temple square lights

We went to salt lake and I was sorely disappointed.

The lights were saddening.

So less lights than last year.

But I got a pretty dang cool picture of the temple. With a phone. Yup.

And then we met the guy with the bag pipes. We gave him hugs.

It was freezing.

Scoliosis appointments

I just had my scoliosis appointment. I really thoughts something had changed.

Nothing did

Mom is going to kill me.

I grew 1/4 of an inch.

Nothing changed.

I want to die. Badly.

The rehab costs 2000 dollars.

So much fracking money.

I feel stupid and useless.

Marleen's thing didn't work at all

And I want just cry and to hug someone and have them tell me everything will be OK.

Birthday 'Cake'

Well, It's my birthday tomorrow and I want to make myself a cake, but my loverly cake will be in balls :)

 

 This is how they are supposed to look....

Hopefully this works....

Velvet Cake Balls 

1 baked red velvet cake,  recipe follows

1 3/4- 2 cups cream cheese frosting,  recipe follows

1 package chocolate flavored bark (regular or white)

Instructions:
1. When cake is cooled completely, crumble into a large bowl.

2. Add frosting to bowl and mix thoroughly with a hand held electric mixer.  (Mixture will be completely smooth and there will be no white flecks left from frosting.)

3.Roll mixture into quarter size balls and lay on cookie sheet lined with a silpat.

4.Place the cookie sheets in the freezer until the balls have a frozen exterior.

5.Melt bark in microwave per directions on package.

6. Dip or roll balls in melted chocolate and lay on wax paper until firm. (I used a plastic fork with the two interior tines broken off to dip with then tapped off extra chocolate.)

7. If you're going to decorate with sprinkle, apply them immediately after each ball is dipped in chocolate and the chocolate is still wet.  

 

Red Velvet Cake:

Ingredients

Vegetable oil for the pans

2   1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon fine salt

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature

2 large eggs, at room temperature

2 tablespoons red food coloring (1 ounce)

1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil and flour 2 ( 9 by  1 1/2-inch round) cake pans.

2. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. In another large bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla.

3. Using a standing mixer, mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined and a smooth batter is formed.

4. Divide the cake batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. Place the pans in the oven evenly spaced apart. Bake, rotating the pans halfway through the cooking, until the cake pulls away from the side of the pans, and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean, about 30 minutes.

5. Remove the cakes from the oven and run a knife around the edges to loosen them from the sides of the pans. One at a time, invert the cakes onto a plate and then re-invert them onto a cooling rack, rounded-sides up. Let cool completely. 


Cream Cheese Frosting:
This recipe makes approximately 2 cups of frosting. Perfect for the cake ball recipe.  You may choose to add the entire amount or cut it bake by 1/4 cup depending on how moist you want the finished product to be.
 
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened 
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar 
1 stick unsalted butter, softened 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Direction: 
1. In the bowl of a standing mixer, mix the cream cheese, sugar, and butter on low speed until incorporated. Increase the speed to high, and mix until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. (Occasionally turn the mixer off, and scrape the down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.) 

2.Reduce the speed of the mixer to low. Add the vanilla, raise the speed to high and mix briefly until fluffy (scrape down the bowl occasionally). Store in the refrigerator until somewhat stiff, before using. May be stored in the refrigerator for 3 days.

Bishop Brown

Its my birthday in two days so I had to have the customary interview with the bishop.

Good thing I was last because I took forever.

For the first 5 minutes, he asked regular questions. Hows school, are you doing well. Things like that.

I think I broke down after he asked me how school was.

I told him it was overwhelming.

Then we got into more subjects.

There were 5-6 main problems.

I cried for a freaking hour strait.

This interview was supposed to be about 5-10 minutes top.

Mine lasted 45

I want to thank Bishop Brown.

Its nice to know that I can talk to at least one person who won't judge me.

Christmas time

It's christmas time. 

There are gifts everywhere, and people are happy.

I'm still feeling a little empty, lonely. 

I'm feeling better than I was, but it's still not the best. 

Today I gave out gifts for my friends. I could only pick 10 so I did.

I was frantically wrapping the gifts during an assembly today. It was funny. 

I had a pretty good day

3 days till my scoliosis appointment

4 days till i'm 15

7 days till noelle's 15

9 days till christmas

Concerts and failures

I had a choir concert today.

There were 2 showings.

The first one, I managed not to fail miserably. A few mess ups but nothing too noticeable.

This is where the failures begin.

No one would shut up in the halls.

I had to run outside to get food after the first concert, without getting in trouble. Not easy.

I tried to practice baby its cold outside but no one would listen. I wanted to scream and throw something. I settled for taking pictures.

Then we had to sing our songs. I play the piano first but Monica (who turns my pages)  had to leave so I had to ask joelle - who was also Jennie's page turner which lead to her freaking out as well.

I messed up quite a few times and I felt stupid.

I sang winter wonderland pretty well.

Then the disaster came. Playing baby its cold outside.

Let's list these disasters in order shallow we.

-I didn't know when to start

-Noelle was off

-I couldn't hear Tate

-the microphone wasn't working

-they forgot words

-I missed part of the left hand on the second to last page (and since the pianonwas all you could hear, that wasn't good)

-they were a little out of key at the end

Then we sang ding don't merrily on high and nobody got the entrance but me.

In carol of the bells, the sopranos around me sucked.

The only legit good song was Immanuel.

Now I'm off to do a geography project when all i want to do is cry. Badly.

is it just me?

Almost every girl has had a crush.

She thinks he amazing and so on and so forth.

Most people (I actually like)  are aware of who this person is.

A few days ago Amanda invited a bunch of people to go ice skating with her and Anna.

Several people responded with a posptive response. (My phone notifies me when I get a notification on facebook)  so my phone started singing (yes singing)  and I checked it. I read the message and I nearly screamed.

He was going to come!

This put me in the best mood ever.

Keep in mind that I don't see this guy very often so any chance to is amazing.

If I'm able to go, I would probably die of excitement.

Its 12:21 am on December 13.

7 days till I'm 15.

10 days till Noelle's 15

11 days till Christmas eve

12 days till Christmas day!!
